Database Project

Microsoft Access is a powerful database program normally used to store large array of information, which can be viewed, sorted, changed, retrieved, and reported. Since databases are very important resource to a business, accuracy in organizing, storing, manipulating, retrieving, and sorting data is a significant matter. Microsoft Access enables the information to be stored, found, and utilized effectively.

This database software gives the user proper control of the data, enabling to be retrieved, sorted, analyzed, summarized, and reported in instants. In addition, it allows user to combine data from a variety of files, so the information will not be entered twice. The relational databases that Microsoft Access creates link data between two or more tables increasing its usefulness.


Database also has disadvantages, such as complexity, usage of larger memory for storage and processing power, vulnerability due to the fact that unauthorized users can gain access, and cost. On the other hand, advantages and benefits surpass disadvantages.
